Executive Director:

  • coordinates organizational activities of board and committees
  • supervises all staff actions and services
  • implements board policy and defines mission in all areas
  • speaks for organization on public issues

  • provides leadership for innovation and change

    Director of Elementary Education:

  • directs curriculum development
  • coordinates professional development program
  • edits publications
  • organizes school evaluations
  • comments on professional and pedagogical issues
  • writes and edits newsletters and resource papers
  • provides telephone consultations

    Director of Support Services and Secondary Programs:

  • directs curriculum development
  • coordinates professional development program
  • edits publications
  • organizes school evaluations
  • comments on professional and pedagogical issues
  • writes and edits newsletters and resource papers
  • provides telephone consultations
  • acts as liaison with officials of the Ministry of Education and Training
  • directs the computer and learning integration project

    Director of Financial Services:

  • administers financial service packages
  • designs financial policy guidelines
  • develops instruments to assess school financial health
  • conducts seminars on financial aspects of school operation
  • designs, directs and implements financial service packages for schools
  • liaison with CRA about tax issues
  • initiates and manages a banking plan for schools
  • directs a bulk buying plan in appropriate school resources
  • designs and publishes manuals for finance and transportation committees
  • consults with treasurers and finance committees on financial operations
  • compiles and analyze school budget statistics

    Director of Communications:

  • provides consultation on contracts, salaries, and management issues
  • develops Christian school communication/growth resources
  • researches policy questions
  • media spokesperson and resource
  • contact with MPPs and Ministry of Education officials
  • liaison with Ontario College of Teachers
  • design and coordination of newsletter publications
  • Editor: Communicator, Currents

    Director of Stewardship:

  • coordinates OACS fundraising activities
  • works on development strategies

    Technology Administrator:

  • maintains hi-tech infrastructure
  • webmaster
  • designs applications
