OACS is a service and advocacy organization dedicated to quality and justice for Christian schools in Ontario.
Mission Promises:
The OACS, an incorporated board of education established in 1952, interprets its mission to advance Christian education in four broad dimensions:
- Providing professional solutions for typical administrative problems occurring in the operation of independent faith-based school through membership services.
- Encouraging quality assurance in areas of education, finances and human resources through regular external reviews of the school’s policy standards.
- Assisting with strategic management to guide school leadership in the areas of governance, advancement, development and dispute resolutions through custom consultations.
- Building community for the future through the support of dialogue networks, the publishing of exemplary programs and the care of a living legacy.
