We are proud of our senior boys volleyball team!

On Wednesday evening the boys volleyball team played in the SWOSSAA (South Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association) finals against Chatham Christian School. The boys came out strong thanks to some excellent digs by Luke Brouwer and Ryan Friesen, on point setting by Jeremy Friesen and Jacob Canji, and some big hits by Mike Vriesema and Isaac Glos. Going into the fourth set, the boys had a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately, the boys were unable to pull out the final set win and fell 3-2 in very tight back and forth matches.

Although the outcome was not what we wanted, the boys played their hearts out and left it all on the court. They showed excellent skill, improvement, team work, dedication, and sportsmanship all season. Special thanks to Luke Brouwer for taking a huge leadership role on the team this year! Also, thank you to all the fans who came out and supported the team.
