Jarvis Community Christian School

Vision
Jarvis Community Christian School offers excellent Christ centred education for students through dynamic programs and facilities.

Mission
Jarvis Community Christian School, to the glory of God, develops the whole child by providing quality education to elementary students of Christian families through Bible-based curriculum and values in a safe and caring environment.

This is the reason we are here. It is our core purpose and the reason this school exists. It is something we are excited about! I have walked the halls of this school and it really moves me to think that this school is here “to the glory of God.” What does that mean? When I think of the glory of God, an image of the heavenly host of angels that came down to glorify God and to tell of the birth of Jesus comes to mind. That is a pretty amazing image. Another moving image that comes to mind is of three young children, aged 4 – 11, of a family who belonged to our small group Bible study in Grand Rapids participating in baptism. At our school, I believe it means that we are praising God through the education and care of our children and the decisions we make. Learning is an amazing thing! Think about the first time your child walked or said “mama” or “dada.” What beautiful moments those are. At JCCS there are those beautiful moments as well, watching children learn how God’s amazing creation works and watching their love for the Lord grow. Glory to God!
