Immanuel Christian School in Aylmer

Purpose
Immanuel Christian School was established to assist Christian parents in providing Christ centered education based on the infallible Word of God.

Vision
Recognizing that the sovereignty of God extends to all areas of life, Immanuel Christian School with the support of the Christian community, educates and encourages children to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and physically, and in the process discover and develop their God-given talents for service in God’s world.

Mission
Immanuel Christian School will prepare students to meet the challenge of the world and culture they live in as young and growing Christians. Thus, students are taught the skill of discernment in the light of God’s Word, the practice of stewardship for creation, the required commitment to a life of Christian service, and the beauty of witness through modeling God’s love in a broken world.

Scripture: Psalm 8:1 (NIV)
Lord, our Lord…
Message: This text indicates that our world is in the hands of a personal God “...our Lord...” This warms up the universe! We live all our lives in a personal relationship with its Creator. One of the most disturbing things about atheism is that it leaves us an empty and cold universe where there is nobody home. Christian Education nurtures our children In the warm truth that life is a personal affair.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for being there for us and our children. We need the warmth of your presence. Amen.

Raise to Praise Day 2 Devotional.
Scripture: Psalm 8:1 (NIV)
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Message: In Christian Education our children learn that this wonderful world in all its majesty was created by the loving hand of God. It's a glorious work of participatory art in which they get to both work and play. Could there ever be a more positive view of life than that?!

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank for the arts and sciences that teach our children about the majesty of your creation. May this give a beautiful and positive perspective on life that will enrich their praise of you. Amen.
