Burlington Christian Academy

Vision
Burlington Christian Academy seeks to guide hearts, inspire minds, and shape the lives of young students through a challenging academic education, which is grounded in the essentials of the Christian faith.

Mission
Burlington Christian Academy’s two-fold mission is

  1. to provide students an excellent academic education, and
  2. to disciple students in the Christian faith and biblical worldview.

Through the intentional integration of academics and faith, we seek to equip students with knowledge, skills, and biblical principles for successful living. Within our loving and nurturing learning environment, we strive to make a significant difference in a child’s life so that each child can grow to be the person Christ intends him/her to be.

Happy #FlashbackFriday! Back in November, the Curtain Call theatre students traveled to St.Jabob's Country Playhouse for a performance of "HONK!", a remake of the popular Hans Christian Anderson fable of "The Ugly Duckling". This high-energy, musical comedy with the wonderful messages of acceptance and embracing our differences was enjoyed by both students and the parent volunteers who joined. Also during that week, all of our Senior Program students attended a performance at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre by spoken word poet, Shane Koyczan (@shane_koyczan). The hour-long thought provoking and inspirational piece dealt with many of the everyday issues faced by teens, such as bullying, body image, and friendship. It also touched on the curriculum connections of promoting empathy and understanding, and reflecting on personal experiences through drama. We love being able to experience learning beyond the classroom! #onlyatbca #bca #burlingtonchristianacademy #burlingtonprivateschool #kidsloveithere #FBF #flashbackfriday #HONK! #shanekoyczan #seniorprograms #curtaincall #theatre #drama #performance #artsmatter #bullying #friendship #empathy #understanding #fieldtrip #fieldtripfun #learningbeyondtheclassroom #stjacobs #burlingtonperformingartscentre ... As part of the Grade 5 Science unit on force and structures, students have been learning about bridges. Here are just a couple of the incredible bridges that students have been building to apply the knowledge they have learned throughout the unit. Now that the designing and constructing portions of the project are complete, the real fun begins; students will soon test the strength of their bridges to determine which type is most supportive - an activity that has been a highlight to many students as they reflect on their Grade 5 year at BCA. #onlyatbca #bca #burlingtonchristianacademy #kidsloveithere #burlingtonprivateschool #science #force #structures #bridges #handsonlearning #building #engineering #stem ...
