YouTube Video Celebrates School's Blessings "The feedback from students, parents and the wider community has been incredibly positive," says director of communications and admissions Marlene Bergsma. "We know that some parents are sharing it with their friends and co-workers as a way to tell others about the school their children attend, or they are sharing the link through their Facebook pages." The local Chamber of Commerce, of which the school is a member, has also shared it with its members. So far the video has had more than 2,000 YouTube views. Bergsma notes SCHS is taking advantage of social media as a tool to engage students and families. The school uses Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, a blog-roll and its website in interconnected ways to communicate timely messages about the ways in which God is blessing and growing its community.
