“Having community service as part of the school curriculum is very important for the students of Timothy Christian School," says principal Brenda Goodnough. "It teaches the students to reach out to those who may
be less fortunate and follow Christ's example in serving others." Other community service activities that the students have been involved in this year include: - The junior choir singing and visiting with the residents at Roberta Place in Barrie - Participating in Hoops & Jump Rope for Heart for the Heart & Stroke Foundation - School-wide participation in the Terry Fox Run to raise money for cancer research - The school's Black Light Theatre group joining Inspire, a Christian concert to support Habitat for Humanity - The Salvation Army Hamper program making lunches for the David Busby Centre.
