HDCH student wins national competition

Hamilton District Christian High (HDCH) senior student Kat Vos won the Canada-wide My Just BeCause competition, aimed to raise awareness for youth to take an active role in international development.

Kat and fellow students entered a video into the contest, sharing about her volunteer work with City Kidz, a Hamilton organization working to transform the lives of inner city children.

The prize is a 13-day overseas life-changing trip. Kat will be living out her dream to go to Uganda and work with children.
