A sweet surprise at
Beacon Representatives from Piano House Burlington Inc. arrived at the school with the donation of a digital piano. The store ran a Facebook content, giving away 12 Adagio PDP-100 portable digital pianos to schools across Canada. Though Beacon didn’t have enough votes to win, the store decided to give the school a piano after noticing their persistence in participating. Principal Ralph Pot said it’s an example of how the school has a lot of community support. “It was good to hear they chose our school in part because of our extra effort we put into the process, where we were close often, but our persistence did it, and apparently our graciousness to past winners as well,” he said.
